Vitalistic Naturopathic Doctor in Training | Specializing in Pediatric and Fertility Through Nature-Centered Healing
About Emily deStefano
Emily deStefano is a Vitalistic Naturopathic Doctor in Training, currently in her fourth and final year at Bastyr University San Diego. During her final year, she was honored to join the highly selective Vitalism Fellowship—a distinction typically reserved for post-graduate practitioners—recognizing her exceptional dedication to the principles of vitalism.
With unique specializations in pediatrics and fertility, Emily has gone beyond the standard naturopathic curriculum, pursuing extensive mentorships, preceptorships, and advanced training to meet the distinct needs of her patients. She provides holistic care tailored to children and women, recognizing that their health requires fundamentally different approaches. Her offerings include well-child visits, vaccine consultations, pregnancy preparation, homeschooling support, acute care, lab reviews, and support for autistic children. In women’s health, she empowers women to reclaim their cycles, prepare for pregnancy, and align with their natural rhythms through fertility awareness, basal body temperature tracking, and vitalistic methods—helping parents create the healthy, happy families they dream of.
Emily’s mission is to empower families to reconnect with nature and break free from systems that no longer serve their well-being. As a passionate advocate for freedom and vitality, she guides her patients toward a nature-aligned, liberated lifestyle.
Teaching and community-building are central to her work. Emily is creating a naturopathic community membership that serves as a one-stop hub for members. This space features a library of lectures, resources, and talks, along with a platform for connecting like-minded individuals. Through this community, she offers live Q&A sessions, vitalistic family care, and mentorship. Whether guiding parents, supporting women, or mentoring future naturopathic doctors, Emily is devoted to inspiring a vibrant, holistic approach to health and freedom.
Vitalistic Naturopathy: Treating People, Not Diseases
I treat people, not diseases! My focus is on restoring the body’s natural physiology rather than fixating on pathology. I believe the human body is incredibly intelligent and perfectly designed to heal itself. When we remove obstacles to healing and support the body’s innate vitality, health can naturally be restored to its optimal order and function.
I am here to help you tap into this vitalistic energy and guide you every step of the way. My goal is to empower you to embrace self-healing, not just for yourself, but to support your family, children, parents, and loved ones on their own healing journeys and in cultivating a natural, harmonious way of life.
My Healing Philosophy:
I believe true healing begins with empowerment. The term “doctor” comes from the Latin word docēre, meaning “to teach,” a principle that lies at the heart of both vitalism and naturopathic medicine. I embody this philosophy by educating, supporting, and guiding individuals and families to connect with their body’s innate ability to heal.
My belief in this principle runs so deep—and I’ve witnessed its transformative power in countless patients—that it inspired me to create a community to bring it to life. This user-friendly, vitalistic naturopathic space is designed to make healing simple, accessible, and enjoyable. It serves as a comprehensive hub where parents can learn, ask questions, and access resources to support their family’s health.
In essence, it’s like having a “doctor in your pocket”—a place for guidance, education, and lasting healing transformation.
Em Naturopathic’s Community
To work with me, you’ll need to join my community. This is because I deeply believe in the power of education, connection, and long-term support to create lasting change. By becoming a member, you’ll gain access to me, a wealth of resources, and a like-minded community, as well as some of my all-time favorite doctors, healers, and experts.
It’s like having a doctor in your back pocket!
This community serves as your central hub for everything you need—whether it’s health updates, answers to your questions, recipes, guidance on natural living, or support in areas like vitalistic care, clean products, research, pregnancy preparation, homeschooling, home births, fertility support, homeopathy, botanical medicine, helping women reclaim their periods, drainage, and more.
As a member, you’ll also have the ability to book appointments for yourself, your child, or your family once I am fully licensed (so soon!). Together, we’ll build a meaningful, transformative partnership to help you thrive.
I’ve faced restrictions on Instagram in the past for sharing "too much truth," with posts being flagged or censored by the fact-checking powers that be. This community allows me to share information fully and authentically, without holding back—truly uncensored!
In-person and remote options
